We were travelling from Sioux Falls to Rapid City so the AmericInn in Fort Pierre was a great intermediate stop. The facilities were clean and modern and located on the waterfront of the Missouri River. We rented a room with two queen beds that were clean and comfortable. A nice self-serve breakfast with hot and cold items was included with the room. Coffee was available all day. There are many restaurants available in the Pierre area.

The property was very nice and clean! The desk clerk, Heather I think was her name, was very friendly, kind, and helpful! Ou room was clean and comfortable. We were also pleased that our room had been cleaned while we were out- the last few places we stayed more than one night didn’t do that!

The staff was so nice and acomdating. They made us feel very welcomed, and they loved my dog "baby". We loved the location, my grandson was able to fish off the bank. My only concern was the bed! It was so uncomfortably, very hard. We could feel the bed spring's. My daughter law and son were in another room and their bed was the same. For $230 a night we expected better bed!

We paid extra and got a deck which we didn't use because the weather was a little too cold. However, the view from our room was beautiful, looking across the river toward the capitol dome.

It was a solid property. Nothing extravagant, but clean and did the job. Breakfast was good and had a good variety of options. Staff was great.

The breakfast bar has some good choices. The location of the hotel is great, right on the river with really nice river views. The bar staff is really great as well!!
